“When I first accepted Jesus, I knew I couldn’t do this journey alone. That pursuit of getting to know Him takes effort- showing up, getting out of your comfort zone, and so much more.
Thank you TGG for getting this broken person out of isolation. Thank you TGG for a place where I don’t feel judged- even at times when my theology doesn’t feel biblically accurate. Thank you TGG for showing this new believer grace for that. Michael & Alexis, I love you. Thank you for the endless hugs.

“I never thought that one meeting at a park in Torrance would change my life but it did.”
“A year ago, I attended my first Godly Gathering. I was invited by my sister in Christ. I never thought that one meeting at a park in Torrance would change my life but it did.
The message that day was "it's about to get good" and the speaker, being led by the Holy Spirit, spoke straight to me. He was telling the story of the people of Israel being led out of Egypt. He said, "when they got to the red sea they had all the weapons they needed to fight back but didn't know how to use them." God spoke to me in that moment and said "it's time to let me sharpen your sword and teach you how to use it; are you ready and are you willing?" My answer was "Yes Lord".
God's presence was so strong in that park, I realized before leaving that God has brought me to this safe space community, His community, so I can grow and not have to do this alone. I'm very grateful for TGG.
My prayer is that many of God's children that are hiding in isolation or feeling left out(cast out) because of religious people, get the chance to come and experience God's warm embrace in this space of grace called The Godly Gathering.”

“Having grown up in the church for the past 25 years, I know it can be a challenge to cultivate godly community. It can be hard to maintain an environment where everyone is seen, heard, and loved. A Godly community where vulnerability is present, and members can lovingly correct.
At TGG, I’ve felt and seen this come so naturally when we all gather. The spirit moves, and people from all walks of life come together to experience His presence, kingdom, and community.
If you are open and keep showing up, TGG can feel like a second family.”

“That same member, Michael, who leads TGG, later married us.”
“When we first found church online, we were both broken, searching, and far from God — but God was already drawing us back to Him and connecting the pieces of our story.
We both individually joined online small groups as we were healing in separate states. A year later, we were engaged and invited to The Godly Gathering - we were amazed to realize God had been ordering our steps long before we understood what He was doing - we both had connected with the same small group member and didn’t even know it!
That same member, Michael, who leads TGG, later married us.
The Godly Gathering is more than a place where we worship God — it has become family. It reminds us that God is intentional, faithful, and able to bring beauty out of ashes when we take one step toward Him.”

“The Godly Gathering = Rich soil for the Holy Spirit to move.
A bunch of us imperfect people get together, share meals and talk about Jesus and life things together. It’s where we can be our authentic, messy selves, and be loved for it. We get vulnerable here and it's the best. We're not meant to do life alone.

It's important to me to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about me, my family, and our well-being.
